Our solution.

The Evening Standard created a data-driven, eye-catching content series highlighting 'how to slow down in summer'. The series would focus on tactical sponsorships within the Evening Standard, ES Magazine and ES Insider.


Inspiring advertorial series.

A four-part advertorial series contextually placed next to regular travel editorial.

Each part of the series brought to life different aspects of the Le Meridien 'Au Soleil' programme which encourages guests to slow down and savour life. From tips on how to slow down and savour each moment when you travel, to examples of locations within the Le Meridien portfolio with travel tips in the according destination.

A digital edit of the series was live on standard.co.uk accompanied by a roadblock.

Striking supplement.

The Evening Standard content team created a four-page travel supplement to intrigue and immerse our readers into the world of Le Meridien.

The supplement blended striking imagery with bespoke, relevant native editorial and advertorial content.

Travel journalist Anna Hart told her story on how to make memories on your holiday such as spontaneity is key and to go off the beaten track., alongside city spots to savour in Le Meridien cities.

Editorial sponsorship of Insider

Le Meridien exclusively sponsored Insider during the summer with 100% SOV, in association logo, sponsored editorial articles and social posts.

The editorial series appealed to the aspirational audience who devour quality lifestyle content including 'The most decadent train journeys in the world'.
