The operations team

The role

The Programmatic Data Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing complex online advertising data through the use of relevant tools to produce various insights helping to optimise advertising monetisation setups.

This position will provide support mainly to the programmatic team to monitor and improve revenues, find issues and help resolve them.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Rapidly develop proficient working knowledge of all platforms used within the AdOps programmatic team

The Independent is looking for a deputy picture editor who will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of picture operations across Independent platforms.

The applicant needs to have a passion for all forms of photojournalism and will bring a proactive energy to the picture desk.

They must have experience of working on a live picture desk and knowledge of copyright laws.

The team

The agency sales team are responsible for selling all digital display and video advertising across direct and programmatic channels. High quality customer service, achieving client KPIs and a can-do attitude are team hallmarks. We sit within the Independent Commercial team, comprising of Creative Solutions, Affiliate and Partnerships, the US offices and of course Ad Operations; all working together to hit the global targets.

Main purposes of the role

This role is critical in delivering results for our clients. Reporting to the Group Heads of Digital you will be responsible for supporting the sales team to help create and deliver client success. Real-time optimisation, sales planning, upselling, internal and external reporting will be essential to this.

In addition to these duties you will have a group of specialist agencies and clients to grow and develop.

The role

Independent TV and indy100 are seeking talented producers to select and write short video stories.

You will be able to write compelling headlines, clean copy and also have a knack for spotting video content likely to appeal to large audiences both on social and search.

You will use analytics tools to gauge audience interest and scour the video wires for gems, before expertly headlining and writing short stories to accompany them.

The right candidates will likely come from either a similar role at another publication, or have experience as a social media producer in a news environment. A strong news background is essential, but you will need to have a firm grasp on all aspects of editorial from sport to features.
